Halloween is upon us and the costumes are out! But what should you be this year?
At Dressdown, costumes aren’t our speciality, we’re more of a t-shirt kind of crowd. That’s the thing with Halloween, not everybody wants to go out dressed in a full Optimus Prime costume, some people like to take it a little easier and just rock up in something home made. If you’re out this weekend make sure you look out for these 6 types of people!
1. The Homemade Masterpiece
Have you seen these kind of guys on the internet? These are the people who blow your minds with a home made costume. Sure, it might take them a few days to put together, and it might be a little uncomfortable to walk around in, but these guys have shown that they’ve got commitment, and that they deserve the limelight at the party!
2. The Last Minute
The outfits that look half-arsed can usually be some of the best ones. We’ve all been there before: There’s a Halloween party in two days, and you’ve got nothing to wear! Fear not, why not pin some paint swatches to yourself and go as 50 Shades of Grey, or maybe you can make a protest sign and go as a fully-dressed nudist on strike! The possibilities are endless, and we can’t wait to see how bad some of the costumes are this weekend!
3. The Pet Dressers
For some people, Halloween isn’t just about their costume; it’s about their pets! Have you seen a dog as Yoda? Maybe a cat as a bumble bee? Well, October 31st is the time for mild animal discomfort, with pet people dressing up their furrier family members.
